5 Couple Must Do's at Disney World
At first glance, a Walt Disney World vacation would probably seem more like a family vacation but let’s be honest, Disney is for EVERYONE- no matter the age! It’s also an amazingly romantic place for all you love birds out there. There are some activities where you and your significant other can enjoy each other’s time together.
After 7 consecutive years of visiting the world together as a couple, we’ve curated our list of favorite couple Must Do’s at Disney World.
1. Play Mini Golf at Fantasia Gardens $
This 18-hole Fantasia themed mini golf course has all the bells and whistles for every Disney fanatic! From motion censored paths to incredibly detailed statues to intermediate level holes.
Proceed with caution because you may GET WET!
Tip: night mini-golf gives a nice element of surprise in the middle of the course. You have been warned :)
2. Have a Fancy Dinner at California Grill $$$$
Oh, the famous California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Splurge on this fantastic date night dinner experience. Considered a Signature Dining experience, you can use two table service credits for this meal per person. Schedule a dinner for anytime before fireworks and you’ve got yourself a ticket to a primo fireworks viewing spot. Not to mention indulging in a fabulous fancy dinner with your loved one. This one can’t be beat! Make your reservations early as this one is high on demand!
3. Have a Spa Date $$$
Skip a day in the parks and treat yo self! What’s more relaxing than a spa date at Disney World?! A spa date at Disney World with your favorite person! There are a few spa’s on property (and off property.) If you’re still wanting to stay in the World, our personal faves are the Mandara Spa at the Swan and Dolphin and Senses Spa at the Grand Floridian. Keep an eye out on Groupon for treatment deals at the Mandara Spa. We’ve scored $74 massages and they were LOVELY!
4. Eat and Drink Around the World $$
Epcot’s World Showcase is a perfect place to have a lil day date. Skip the sit down lunch and eat and drink around the world. Try delicacies from the U.K, Canada, France, Japan, China and Mexico all in one loop. There are also beer flights you can try all around the world. The ultimate foodie indulgence without flying across the globe!
5. Go Shopping at Disney Springs $$
The new mecca of shopping at Disney. You can find everything and anything at Disney Springs. Our personal favorite store is the Uniqlo in Disney Springs. They offer daily deals on clothing and even have Disney themed clothing for the whole family. We personally thing their clothes are cuter and more affordable than the World of Disney store across the way.
